Background / Context

TPT follow-up and completion outcomes were built under STOP-47 and STOP-48 (both Closed, 3.0). PRD v186 replaces the outcome list, drops the "Developed active TB during TPT" redirect and replaces "Other" with Remarks.

Problem Statement

The TPT outcome list in the app does not match the outcomes the programme now records.

Current Behaviour

• TPT outcome status: Completed / Incomplete / Lost to follow up / Developed active TB during TPT / Died during TPT / Other.
• Completed → enables date of completion.
• Developed active TB during TPT → creates a new active-TB case record and closes the TPT case.
• Died during TPT → enables date of death and cause of death.
• Other → enables a free-text reason.

Expected Behaviour / Requirement

User Story

As a Counselling Officer, I want to close a TPT case with an outcome from the programme's current list, so that TPT results are reported consistently.

Acceptance Criteria

1. Given a TPT follow-up, when TPT outcome status opens, then it lists exactly the 7 PRD options and is mandatory.
2. Given outcome = Treatment Completed, when selected, then Date of TPT outcome is enabled.
3. Given outcome = Died, when selected, then Date of TPT outcome and Cause of death are enabled, and Cause of death is mandatory.
4. Given Date of TPT outcome, when a future date is entered, then it is rejected.
5. Given Remarks is blank, when the form is submitted, then it still submits.
6. Given the outcome list, when shown, then "Developed active TB during TPT", "Incomplete" and "Other" are not present.

Business Rules / Validations

• TPT outcome status: mandatory, single selection.
• Date of TPT outcome: not a future date.
• Cause of death: mandatory when enabled.
• Remarks: optional.

Dependencies

• STOP-47, STOP-48 (Closed): existing outcome field and case closure.
• STOP-603: same form; build together.
• Confirmed TB Cases: today receives contacts who develop active TB through the redirect being removed.

Impact / Affected Areas

TPT follow-up form, TPT case closure, the path from TPT to Confirmed TB Cases, existing TPT outcome records, Dashboard TPT Cases Summary (STOP-500) if it reads outcome values.

Out of Scope

TPT start fields (regimen, start date, expected completion date). Side effects and adherence (STOP-603).

QA / Testing Considerations

• Test each of the 7 outcomes and which fields each enables.
• Open TPT cases closed under the old values and confirm they display correctly.
• Check the Dashboard TPT card still counts correctly after the change.

Open Questions / Clarifications

1. PRD logic still names 'Completed' and 'Died during TPT'. Confirm these map to "Treatment Completed" and "Died". [TBD/CLARIFICATION REQUIRED]
2. Date of TPT outcome is marked "Mandatory" but enabled only for Completed and Died. Is it required for the other 5 outcomes? [TBD/CLARIFICATION REQUIRED]
3. The "Developed active TB during TPT" redirect is gone. Is that intended, and how should a contact who develops active TB reach Confirmed TB Cases? [TBD/CLARIFICATION REQUIRED]
4. Remarks character limit? [TBD/CLARIFICATION REQUIRED]
5. How should existing records with Incomplete, Other or Developed active TB during TPT map? [TBD/CLARIFICATION REQUIRED]
