Type: Change request · Module: Contact Tracing – TPT Module and Follow-Up (PRD 7.4.1) · PRD: TBMJA PRD v186, highlighted changes

      Background / Context

TPT follow-up was built under STOP-47 (Closed, 3.0). The ADR field was added under STOP-350 (Closed, 2.3). PRD v186 drops adherence and renames ADR to Side effects, matching the Confirmed TB change in STOP-600.

      Problem Statement

The TPT follow-up form still shows a field the PRD has dropped and uses the old ADR label.

      Current Behaviour

      • "Adherence to Medicines" radio (Regular / Irregular) on each TPT follow-up.
      • "Any discomfort" = Yes enables "Adverse Drug Reaction" (STOP-350).

      Expected Behaviour / Requirement

      Item Change
Adherence to Medicines Remove from the application. PRD keeps the row "for reference" only.
Any discomfort (Yes / No) Yes → enable "Side effects"
Adverse Drug Reactions Rename to "Side effects". Dropdown with search bar, multi-select, mandatory if enabled. Options as listed in PRD 7.4.1 TPT follow-up.

      User Story

As a Counselling Officer, I want the TPT follow-up form to match the Confirmed TB follow-up, so that side effects are recorded the same way in both modules.

      Acceptance Criteria

      1. Given a TPT follow-up, when "TPT Follow-up" is tapped, then "Adherence to Medicines" is not shown.
      2. Given "Any discomfort" = Yes, when selected, then "Side effects" is enabled and mandatory.
      3. Given "Any discomfort" = No, when selected, then "Side effects" is disabled and not required.
      4. Given "Side effects" is enabled, when opened, then it shows the PRD 7.4.1 TPT options, supports search and allows multiple selections.

      Business Rules / Validations

      • Side effects: multi-select; mandatory only when "Any discomfort" = Yes.
      • Other TPT follow-up validations are unchanged.

      Dependencies

      • STOP-350 (Closed): existing ADR field to rename.
      • STOP-351 (To Do, 2.4): search bar ticket still says "ADR"; update its wording.
      • STOP-600: same change in Confirmed TB follow-up; build together for consistency.

      Impact / Affected Areas

TPT follow-up form, stored TPT follow-up records, any report that reads adherence or ADR for TPT.

      QA / Testing Considerations

      • Confirm the option list matches PRD 7.4.1 exactly, after open question 2 is resolved.
      • Open TPT records created before the change and confirm they display correctly.
