Update logic in CBAC Screening for identification of new leprosy patients

      Enhance the identification process for new leprosy patients by incorporating screening and confirmation criteria based on the CBAC Part-B section. The system should identify suspected cases using CBAC responses and symptoms, and register only confirmed leprosy cases.

      Requirements:

      • Consider suspected leprosy cases based on relevant questions in CBAC: Part-B section
      • Include symptoms listed in CBAC Part-B for leprosy screening
      • Ensure that only confirmed leprosy cases are eligible for registration and further processing

      Consider suspected Leprosy cases based on the CBAC: Part-B section questions related to leprosy are below (S. No):

      10. Recurrent of ulceration on Palm or Sole
      11. Recurrent of tingling on Palm or Sole
      24. Any hypo pigmented patches or discolour lesions with loss of sensation
      25. Any thickened skin
      26. Any nodules skin
      27. Any Patch or Discoloration on Skin
      28. Recurrent numbness on palm or sole
      29. Clawing of fingers in hand or feet
      30. Tingling and numbness in hand / or feet
      31. Inability to close eye lid
      32. Difficulty in Holding Objects in hands or Fingers
      33. Weakness in feet that cause difficulty in walking

      If any one of the above responses is “Yes”, then

      Provide an option to refer to HWC facility, with a dialog box:

      "Suspected Leprosy case!

      Do you want to refer to HWC facility?" with "No" or "Yes" options.

      If “Yes” is selected then navigate to “HWC Referral” screen.

      If “No” is selected then land back to same screen to submit details.

      Note:

      1. Reason for Referral: "Suspected Leprosy case"
      2. Type: Leprosy

      Acceptance Criteria:

      • Suspected cases are correctly identified based on CBAC Part-B responses
      • Symptom screening is applied using Part-B symptom data
      • Only confirmed leprosy cases are recorded as new patients
      • No incentives / records are generated for unconfirmed cases
      • Existing workflows are not impacted
