TB Screening needs to be enhanced for ASHA users by introducing two distinct sections: Asymptomatic TB and Symptomatic TB.

Note: This change is applicable only the "TB Screening" screen in TB Module.

The system should evaluate responses from both sections, identify suspected TB cases, recommend appropriate diagnostic tests, and automatically create a referral to a health facility.

Introduce below two sections in TB Screening:

      TB Screening Visit Date:

      • Allow date back up to 3 months from current month (and for testing case can allow date back up to 12 months)

      TB Screening Sections

      A. Symptomatic TB Screening

Title: Check if the person has any of these Symptoms:

      (Add new questions)

      Question ID Question Response
A1 Rise of fever in evening Yes / No
A2 Loss of appetite Yes / No

      B. Asymptomatic TB Screening

      (New section)

Title: Check if the person has any of these Symptoms:

      Question ID Question Response
B1 Age more than 60 years Yes / No
      B2 Diabetic Yes / No

      B4 BMI < 18.5 Yes / No
B5 Contact with TB patient on treatment Yes / No
B6 History of TB in last 5 years Yes / No

If any one of the above responses is “Yes”, then Provide an option to refer to HWC facility, with a dialog box:

      "Suspected TB case!

Do you want to refer to HWC facility?" with "No" or "Yes" options.

If “Yes” is selected then navigate to “HWC Referral” screen.

If “No” is selected then land back to same screen to submit details

      Note:

      1. Reason for Referral: " Suspected TB case"
      2. Type: TB
