      What to build

Change Temperature on the Anthropometry screen to a single entry field with a 90–110 °F range, show a label (hypothermia / Normal / Fever) based on the value, and show the HWC referral alert when temperature is above 99 °F.

      Where

Registration Officer flow → 4.4 Anthropometry Screen → Temperature (Degree Fahrenheit)

      What exists today

STOP-12 (Done) built Temperature with preset options 97.5 / 98.5 / 99.5 / 100 and above, with an HWC alert at 100 °F and above. STOP-158 (Done) set validation at 95–107 °F. Both differ from the current PRD.

      Requirement (as per PRD)

      Field Rule
Temperature (Degree Fahrenheit) Temperature convert into a single variable to directly enter figure.
Range "Enter Temperature between 90 and 110 °F". Show error message if outside the validation rules.
      Decimals Allow one decimal.
      Display labels Below 97 – hypothermia. 97 to 99 – Normal. Above 99 – Fever.
Referral If above 99 °F, show alert for Referral to HWC.

      Checks

      1. Given I enter 98.6, then it is accepted and the label "Normal" is shown.
      2. Given I enter 96.5, then the label "hypothermia" is shown.
      3. Given I enter 100.2, then the label "Fever" is shown and the Referral to HWC alert appears.
      4. Given I enter 89 or 111, then the error "Enter Temperature between 90 and 110 °F" is shown.
      5. Given I enter 98.65 (two decimals), then it is not accepted.
      6. The old preset options are no longer shown.

      Questions to confirm

      1. PRD lists the field type as "Radio + free textbox" but the logic says a single field to enter the figure directly. Confirm: single free-entry field only, no radio options?
      2. Exactly 97.0 and 99.0: both "Normal"?
      3. The PRD for other vitals in General Examination says "No alert is needed". Confirm that Temperature above 99 °F should still show an alert.
