HWC Sprint 18, HWC Sprint 19
As a Community Health Officer (CHO) I want to record and manage referrals on the prescription screen so that individuals requiring care beyond HWC-level interventions are appropriately referred.
Acceptance Criteria
- Referral Management section is available on the prescription screen.
- “Referral required” is captured as a Yes / No selection.
- If “Referral required” is set to Yes, the following fields become mandatory:
- Referral level
-
- Reason for referral
- Referral level options include:
-
- PHC
-
- DMHP
-
- De-addiction centre
- Reason for referral options include:
-
- Alcohol dependence suspected
-
- Withdrawal symptoms
-
- Medical complications
- Referral date is system-generated automatically and is read-only.
- The system auto-suggests referral when any of the following are present:
-
- Functional impairment identified during screening
-
- Withdrawal symptoms suspected
-
- CHO assesses need beyond brief or psychosocial intervention
- CHO can accept or decline the auto-suggested referral by selecting “Referral required”.
- The user cannot proceed further if mandatory referral fields are incomplete when referral is required.
- Clear validation messages are displayed for missing or incomplete referral details.
