As an ASHA I want to record whether a woman has opted for permanent sterilization (Tubectomy) after an abortion, so that the system can automatically update her Eligible Couple (EC) Tracking details, move her record accordingly, and ensure the correct incentive is applied.

Description / Functional Requirements

• In the Abortion List Section, add a new question:
  “After the Abortion, the Woman opted for permanent sterilization (Tubectomy)?”
  Options:
  • Yes

• • No

• If “Yes” is selected:

• Update the Eligible Couple Tracking (ECT) section:
  • Set ‘Method of Contraception’ = “FEMALE STERILIZATION”
  • Set ‘Status of Woman’ = “Permanently Sterilised”
• Automatically move the woman’s record out of EC and ECT section.
• Insert a new Eligible Couple Tracking visit record with the following details:
  • Date of Sterilisation (Mandatory)
  • Other relevant details (as per standard ECT visit schema)
• Date of Sterilisation Field Logic:

• • Display only if ‘Opted for permanent sterilization’ = Yes
  • Field Type: Calendar (Date Picker)
  • Mandatory: Yes
  • Validation Rules:
    • Date ≤ Today’s Date
    • Date ≥ Abortion Date
    • If validation fails, show alert:
      “Please select a valid Date of Sterilisation — it cannot be after today or before the abortion date.”
• Alert & Document Upload:

• • On selecting “Yes,” display an alert:
    “Please upload Discharge Summary photocopy to claim your incentive.”
  • Enable Upload Document option for “Discharge Summary” (Mandatory for incentive claim).
• Incentive Logic:

• • If “Yes” is selected → Eligible for incentive:
    “Motivating women for sterilization after abortion (no limit on number of children)”
  • Incentive claim should be linked to the uploaded Discharge Summary document.
