As an ASHA I want to record the selected Method of Contraception for a woman in the Eligible Couple (EC) Module, with dynamic field visibility, validations, and incentive logic so that I can accurately update the woman’s contraceptive method, ensure proper data capture, and claim eligible incentives.

Acceptance Criteria

Dropdown: Method of Contraception

• Dropdown Options:
  • Self
  • ANTRA Injection
  • Copper T (IUCD)
  • Condom
  • Mala N
  • Chaya
  • ECP
  • MALE STERILIZATION
  • FEMALE STERILIZATION
  • MiniLap
  • Any Other Method
• Default: null (no value pre-selected)

Conditional Dropdown Logic

• If 'No of Children' = 0, then the following options must be hidden from the dropdown:
  • FEMALE STERILIZATION
  • MALE STERILIZATION
  • MiniLap

Any Other Method

• If "Any Other Method" is selected:
  • Show an input textbox labeled “Specify Other Method” — Mandatory

ANTRA Injection Selection

• If "ANTRA Injection" is selected:
  • Enable the following mandatory fields:
    • Dose (text or dropdown)
    • Date of Injection (calendar)
    • Due Date of Next Injection (calendar)
  • Show Alert: “Please upload MCA Card photo to claim your Incentive”

Sterilization Methods

• If selected method is any of:
  • FEMALE STERILIZATION
  • MALE STERILIZATION
  • MiniLap
    Then:
  • Update Status of Woman → "Permanently Sterilised"
  • Move her record out of EC and ECT sections
  • Show Alert: “Please upload Discharge summary photo to claim your Incentive”

Date of Sterilization Field

• Show only if method is:
  • FEMALE STERILIZATION / MALE STERILIZATION / MiniLap
• Field becomes mandatory
• Validation:
  • Cannot be a future date
  • Acceptable date range: up to 2 months back

• Show Alert “Please upload Discharge Summary photo copy to claim your Incentive.”

Incentive Logic for EC Module

Sterilization Incentive

• Condition:
  • If limiting is done after 2nd child only (most recent 2nd child)
  • Method selected is FEMALE STERILIZATION / MALE STERILIZATION / MiniLap
• Then:
  • Add entry in Incentive Master Claim Form
    • Section: Family Planning
    • S. No. 45
    • Description: “Ensuring limiting after 2 children”
    • Amount: ₹1000

Antara Program Incentives

• Based on Dose:
  • 1st Dose → S. No. 38 → ₹100
  • 2nd Dose → S. No. 39 → ₹100
  • 3rd Dose → S. No. 40 → ₹100
  • 4th Dose → S. No. 41 → ₹100
  • More then 4th Dose → S. No. 42 → ₹100

Social Marketing Incentives

• If Condom selected → ₹1 per patient
• If Chaya selected → ₹1 per patient
• If ECP selected → ₹2 per patient
