HBNC Workflow for Newborns (0–42 Days) and ASHA Incentive Logic

      As a system ASHA, I want to view and capture HBNC-related information and forms for newborns aged 0 to 42 days so that I can conduct timely visits, record data, and receive appropriate incentives for their service.

       

      Acceptance Criteria:

      Eligibility Condition:

      Display HBNC section only if the newborn’s age is between 0–42 days AND if HBNC history records exist for the beneficiary.

      HBNC Section UI:

      • Upon selection of HBNC, display following subsections:
        • HBNC Visit Card 
        • HBNC: Part – I 
        • HBNC: Part – II 
        • HBNC Home Visit Form for visit days: 1st, 3rd, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 42nd.
        • A dynamic labels/fields.
      • Visit Logic:
        • 6 visits for institutional deliveries.
        • 7 visits for home deliveries (including 1st-day visit).
        • Additional visits for:
          • Pre-term, low birth weight, or sick babies.
          • SNCU discharged babies.
      • HBNC Activities:
        • Provide maternal counseling, check weight, refer if sick, check vaccinations (BCG, OPV, DPT), birth registration, postpartum care, and family planning counseling.
      • ASHA Incentive Logic:
        • Rs. 250 per case: For providing complete HBNC up to 42 days after birth or SNCU discharge.
        • Rs. 200 per case: For follow-up of SNCU discharged babies.
