Inventory Management Module – Camp Laptop (Local Server) & Central Server
Inventory Master Configuration
- All Inventory Master configurations shall be managed centrally through the Admin Portal on the Central Server.
- The Inventory Master shall include:

- Item Master

- Unit of Measure (UOM)

- Manufacturer Master

- Distributor/Supplier Master

- Item Categories
-
- Stock Threshold Levels
-
- Batch and Expiry Configuration
- Any additions, modifications, or deactivations of master data performed on the Central Server shall be synchronized automatically to all camp laptops (local servers).
Inventory Operations at Camp Level
- The Pharmacy User shall manage inventory transactions through the Inventory Module available on the camp laptop (local server).
- The following inventory functions shall be supported:

- Stock Entry (Goods Receipt)

- Stock Adjustment (Increase/Decrease)

- Stock Indenting/Requisition

- Stock Transfer (if applicable)

- Opening Stock Entry

- Closing Stock Management

- Medicine Dispensing

- Stock Balance Inquiry
Synchronization with Central Server
- All inventory transactions performed on the camp laptop (local server) shall be stored locally and synchronized with the Central Server whenever network connectivity is available.
- The synchronization process shall update:

- Current stock balances
-
- Stock movement transactions
-
- Opening and closing stock records
-
- Indent requests and approvals
-
- Medicine dispensing details
- The system shall maintain transaction logs and audit trails to prevent data loss and support reconciliation between the local server and the central server.
Business Rules
- Inventory master data shall be maintained only at the Central Server and shall not be editable at the camp level.
- Camp-level users shall be permitted to perform inventory transactions only for items available in the synchronized master catalog.
- The system shall support offline inventory operations at camp locations and automatically synchronize pending transactions upon restoration of connectivity.
- Any inventory discrepancies identified during synchronization shall be logged and reported for administrative review.
