Service lines (particularly MMU) are loading very slow

    • The assets (JS and CSS) are not minified and uglifed. Instead of production builds, development builds are provided in the war files.

      From our recent field visit to Bihar, it was observed that MMU users are struggling with the application.

      The initial load of the MMU login page is excruciatingly slow.

      RCA:

      The assets (JS and CSS) are not minified and uglifed. Instead of production builds, development builds are provided in the war files.

       

      The current asset size is insanely big.
      The page size 12.3MB!!

      Acceptance criteria:

      1. The assets must be built for production.
        1. JS must be fingerprinted
        2. It must be minified and uglified
      2. The assets must have caching headers added.
