Incentive Logic for ASHAs under the Immunization Program

To support and encourage timely immunization of children, ASHAs are eligible for incentives based on specific milestones in a child’s vaccination schedule. The details are as follows:

1. Full Immunization (0–1 year)

ASHAs will receive an incentive of ₹100 for every child who is fully immunized before turning one year old.

A child is considered fully immunized when they have received the following vaccines:

• BCG
• Hepatitis B birth dose
• 3 doses of OPV
• 3 doses of Pentavalent vaccine
• 1st dose of Measles/MR

2. Complete Immunization (1–2 years)

ASHAs are eligible for an incentive of ₹75 for each child who completes the recommended immunization schedule between the age of 1 and 2 years.

This includes the following vaccines:

• 2nd dose of Measles/MR
• 2nd dose of JE (where applicable)
• 2nd dose of Vitamin A

3. DPT Booster Immunization (at 5 years)

ASHAs will be paid an incentive of ₹50 for ensuring that a child receives the DPT Booster-2 vaccine between the ages of 5 and 6 years.

Acceptance Criteria

a. Full Immunization (0–1 year)

• Criteria: Claim is generated when a child has received all 8 vaccines before 1 year of age:
